To Erica,

I think you should not worry about what other people say and just do what you want. Don’t feel stupid because you have a class with freshmen because you just have to worry about passing and graduate and no it’s not good to drop for a crazy reason like that just ignore others and try your best to pass. Make sure you do what you got to do to finish high school.

    Self-Confidence

    Erika, a 12th grader, isn’t good at math and, as a result, is in an 
    algebra class with all freshmen. 


    The freshmen are smarter and do better in the class, which makes her feel stupid. She hates math and doesn’t understand why she has to take it. Her grades aren’t good enough for college anyway, so she’s not planning on going. She already has a job working as a waitress after school and doesn’t think she’s smart enough to do anything else. So, she figures she should just drop out now.
